---- I guess I was out of my mind when I wrote that post. I'm sorry. And thank you so much for the comments and everything *hugs* <3

I'm slowly getting used to everything, even if it this feels unreal. The hardest part is breaking up habits, my brain keeps on remind me to dry salad every evening before going to bed, to peel a slice of apple in the morning, or to check that the volume of the music is not too high and the windows is open.......almost 10 years are a lot, especially living in the same room, I need a little time to convince my brain that all those everyday tasks are not in need anymore. I have a lot of space in my room now that I don't know what to do with it........with a cat or a dog you can't trick your mind to think he/she is just in another room, it's not possible in this case.

Some other unpleasant things happened too, always all at the same time obviously, but I don't want to think about it and I don't even really care much at the moment. But! my mom is adorable, we are thinking about taking another cat, and since I mentioned I'd love a red and white one she bought me this ;__; okay, she treats me like I'm 5 years old but still...I found the whole thing adorable :°

btw....I'll forever wonder how my cat can be comfortable on my joysticks. She sleep there pretty often too.

--- On fandom news.....I'm more excited for Animal Crossing 3D than the new Fire Emblem? shut up I love Animal Crossing XD

To tell the truth, I was happy when Nintendo first announced the 3DS but now...I don't even know if I want to buy one. I don't know, there are a lot of amazing games on it but....the 3D is an huge turn off for me somehow. I liked the simpler 2D games way better...after all my favourite genre is visual novel and that says a lot if it was for me, game would barely have any animation, lol.
In any case, I'd exchange everything about 3DS for new Wii games in a heartbeat. ;__;

About the new Fire Emblem..eeer...dnw. The artstyle is very generic and anime-like, the character design looks like a mixture of Persona and Final Fantasy and it just....doesn't feel like FE at all. While the 2 players option is alluring, I'm not really looking forward to the unison attacks (two units with supports attacking together or something like that). I understand one has to try new things, but this just seems too much all at once. I'm not happy at all at the moment but it's too early to speak about characters and story so....we'll see. :/
I just don't want FE to end like Ace Attorney or Pokemon in which I loved the first games but hated the latest ones (Apollo Justice - 5° generation) with passion...I know it's shallow but bad "sequels" often kill the fandom for me ;___;
And the same goes for the 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors sequel...I'm excited for it, I just hope I won't end up disappointed.

Also. Nintendo. I want a fucking Earthbound/Mother 3 remake before everything else.

I agree with what you have to say about FE13's artstyle, but I think unison attacks could be potentially interesting (then again, I loved both Apollo Justice and Pokémon BW, so that might just be me). The 3DS' 3D really isn't necessary for playing most games, tbh - it makes me feel a little dizzy, so you can just turn it off! :D ... but yeah. I guess it still seems a little gimmicky.
also, visual novels are definitely cool!

3DS hurts my fucking eyes. Instant headache I swear, ands it is that cheap as 3D too. Luckily I think it can be turned off. I'm buying it anyway, but I am not using that feature. :/ Its just a waste of money just so I can play the new games.

I know this is horrid, but I'm just made Ike and Soren are not in the new FE game or that it doesn't take place in that same universe so I can see them be gay together again. I'll buy it anyway, but...grr I have to find a new couple.

I'm also very worried about the 999 sequel, BUT they did say on their main website for 999 way before they knew if they would have the funds to make another that they had left ends open for the sole purpose to link the sequel so they must have had the bare basics of the plot down, at the very least.

Mine too, I've only played it once borrowing it from a friend and felt sick after 2 minutes. I'm happy you can turn it off at least :/ and yeah, I wish they would have done more games for the DS at this point because it kinda feels like a waste of money ._.

(I don't know if you finished the game and I don't want to spoiler anything, but from what the author said on the site, the nonary game of the first game was just the prequel of a bigger project of "Zero".....scaring. but another proof they already had some idea for the sequel plot)

Yeah, I finished the game. Well, considering what seemingly a split-personality, psychopath "Zero" I'm sure she has plans to bring down other people involved with the company somehow. Maybe a larger organization. Hell, maybe she has since synced with someone who plans something horrible.

idk, she seems more of a good actress than a psychopath to me...or at least, reading the Q&A in the official site, the author seems to imply that she is a cynical person with a really cold personality, she probably became that kind of person after the first Nonary Game. What I didn't undestand is if she really cared about Junpei or not but I guess the answer is not....the only person she seems to care for in her brother :/
But in any case, they already got their revenge so...I have no idea about what they could be planning, probably something horrible as you said...it's scary XD

Heh, they said on the site that they were trying to make the worst heroine/love interest ever, so I doubt she did love him or care too much about him. She just knew she had to use him because she connected to him in the future, and she knew how she had to act toward him to make him feel attracted to her. I think it was all an act. In her position I would've started distancing myself from any emotion related to Junpei just because I know what hell I'd have to put him through later. lol

I made myself cry over that post of yours because I remembered how we had to put our dog to sleep :,( It will always hurt... the habits will fade but the sadness will still be there. You gave one bunny love and the best life he could have, so I believe it was worth it all.

I feel the same about 3DS, apparently the 3D effect can be turned off but I dunno... I think I'll wait and see what will Nintendo come out with next.

I'm waiting to buy the 3DS mostly because I'm poor pretty sure they'll come out with a 3DS XL or Lite or something else soon...like, right in the moment when I buy the normal one :|

The 3DS should be cheaper now, quoting wikipedia: On July 28, 2011, Nintendo announced the Nintendo 3DS would be getting a price cut from $250 to $169.99 in North America, €250 to €169.99 in Europe, 25,000 yen to 15,000 yen in Japan, and $349.99 to $250 in Australia.
...but I've yet to see it happen :/ it's still 250€.
And after checking this chart: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_3DS#Technical_comparison I can't help but feel DSlite is still the superior console. Check the battery on 3DS: 3-5 hours! Are they serious? The biggest turn off I have with new handhelds is that they're region locked, but I guess that's the future of gaming so I should start getting used to it...

Ah, yeah, I heard that they lowered the price considerably because it wasn't selling well...but dunno, I'm not seeing it either :/
And I agree with you, I still like the DS better....less fancy and more pratical. Also, I'm still very much upset for how they handled the Wii...there is no game that fully utilizes all the Wii poterial and after few years it's already an old console? just....what.

Just when the Wii and the DS are the most sold consoles....they stop releasing games for them and start on a portable console with a very low selling and an high price, low durability and even region-locked (when everyone know many games don't get to US/Europe and many people would happily import them.) They are even releasing some games both for 3DS and PSVita....and Vita is not region-locked. Nice idea Nintendo.
Plus, the fact that they are trying to suddently change one of their oldest, more classic and particular serie (Fire Emblem) in a commercial-looking RPG is worrisome...reminds too much of all Square-Enix and other companies did in the last years and I can't say I like that .__.

Ugh, yeah, wasn't digging the art style too hard either. First I saw the guy and I was like 'okay sure kinda boring but w/e'. THEN I saw that blonde chick and was like 'what. WHAT.' She and the guy look like they were drawn by two totally different people!

I really don't like the style, either - it looks too much like the style of basically every third-rate generic Japanese RPG that's ever existed, and has nothing in keeping with previous FE's.

My exact reaction :/
The art style is nice on it own but....completely out of place in the FE saga, they looks more like Tales of or Atelier characters or, as you said, every generic jrpg .__.
Actually, the lord reminds me of a bad cosplayers of Advent Children!Cloud with those clothes, while the girl...idk, the annoying sidekick? at least she's the hero sister and not the love interest though it's fire emblem we are talking about, we can't be sure
I hope to change my opinion when more about their personality will be out :/

Uh, ti capisco sul 3DS... cioè in realtà non ero felice manco all'annuncio perché non vedevo l'uso del 3D, ma boh... veramente nulla che m'interessi e la funzione primaria della console mi fa schifìo XD Finora ho solo due titoli che prenderei a prezzo bassino e non più e di uno mi vergogno pure (Theatrhythm, se l'ho scritto giusto, e se non l'ho scritto giusto Squenix impari a non lasciar cadere i biscotti sulla tastiera quando dà i titoli). L'altro è appunto FE. Mi piace l'attacco combinato se funziona come penso, mi piaciucchiano le scelte grafiche (sprite su mappa & tipo di stilizzazione delle unità nelle animazioni), ma coooooos'è il nuovo illustratore? Cos'è sto TRPG generico? Spero in bene.


Comunque fondamentalmente rivorrei indietro il mio DS per poter giocare al dannato 999 ;_; E tipo a uno ziliardo di altre cose ;_;

A me all'inizio il 3DS ispirava un sacco... poi l'ho provato ed è stata una delusione :| che poi giochi che mi interessano ce ne sono pure in realtà... Zelda, Kid Icarus, il sequel di 999 e varia roba che mi costringe a comprare un 3DS USA perchè non sia mai che i giochi belli arrivino in europa. Theatryffjfjfdjkd non lo conosco, cos'è? °°
a me le animazioni non piacciono sinceramente, mi sembrano troppo...piene di effetti inutili e troppo final-fantasycose (a parte i cavalli che sono deformi come al solito XD ho ancora i brividi per i cavalli con le articolazioni al contrario di PoR). Le illustrazioni....no. proprio no. guardo quelle dell'8, poi guardo quelle, e piango.

Che fine ha fatto il tuo DS? e sì, giocaaalo 999 che è una meraviglia T_T

Era un phat azzurro bellisshimo metallizzato del vecchio bundle di Nintendogs che s'è rotto l'estate scorsa cadendo da tipo 30cm... un amico mi ha sostituito il case con uno bianco (mi consolavo dicendo che era un fantasmino tornato dalla tomba e che l'avrei dipinto tutto) ma lo schermo superiore dava immagini sbiaditissime, quasi tutte bianche... ora ce l'ha di nuovo l'amico, che però sta in un'altra città e non vedo da mesi. Sob.
999 sarà una delle prime cose a entrare là dentro, non vedo l'ora, il problema è che lo sto dicendo di mille giochi perché sono rimasta indietro, dannazione XD Tipo Hotel Dusk 2. O il povero Suikoden Tierkreis che ho dovuto abbandonare perché ha tutte le stat sullo schermo superiore e NON VEDEVO NULLA e giocare un JRPG 'alla via così', calcolando gli HP a spanne, può essere un'esperienza interessante solo fino a un certo punto XD Poi c'è Contact che stavo giocando in parallelo col compare. E... uff. Rivoglio il mio DS.

Thitoloacaso è il musicale di Final Fantasy... adoro i musicali, questo sembra aver preso appunti da Ouendan e per una volta conosco e apprezzo le tracce... non capitava da Donkey Konga XD D'altra parte è un cash-in imbarazzante e mi vergogno della sua esistenza quanto dovrebbe vergognarsene Squenix. Ergo lo prenderò solo molto molto usato e a prezzo molto molto basso, se mai avrò un 3DS.

Riguardo a FE3DS, non avevo neanche fatto caso alle effettive animazioni, ehr, ero troppo impegnata a cercare di distinguere i modelli delle varie classi. Però mi piace lo stile cicciottoso vagamente deformed! HO DETTO DEFORMED NON DEFORMATO, COSA STATE FACENDO A QUEI POVERI ANIMALI. Sigh. I cavalli nel fantasy giapponese hanno vita durissima. Povere bestie.

E per il resto della console boh vedremo, se ci sono almeno tre killer app compro un hardware volentieri anche se l'hardware in sé mi dice poco - exhibit uàn e ciù e frì (il frì because Skies of Arcadia, per la cronaca), per fare un esempio di una cosa che mai avrei pensato di trovarmi in casa. Sicuramente annunceranno roba per 3DS, ma al momento proprio non ne vedo per quelli che sono i miei gusti. E onestamente ho abbastanza backlog su DS e PSP da bastarmi per tuuuutta la prossima generazione...

noooooo, povero DS, che brutta fine T__T il mio ogni tanto delira quando lo chiudo da acceso, inizia a lampeggiare in modo isterico e si blocca, ma credo ci si sia solo infilata un po' di polvere sotto, solo che non ho mai voglia di aprirlo XD
però il jrpg calcolando l'HP a spanne è da vero hardcore gamer XDDD

anch'io sono indietrissimo T_T ho finito 999 e Ghost Trick ma lasciato da parte The world ends with you e altra roba....Hotel Dusk e Suikoden Tierkreis non li ho mai finiti, l'R4 mi si era formattata a metà di entrambi e devo ancora trovare il coraggio di ricominciarli, è stato un trauma XD

Eh, il non distinguere le classi è forse la cosa che mi irrita di più, oltre alle lucette eccessive castando. Mi disturba leggermente non riuscire a distinguere un arciere da un guerriero in un gioco a classi °__°
I cavalli con le articolazioni da struzzo sono la mia parte preferita di PoR XDD come cazzo hanno fatto a non accorgersi del problema XDD

mah, vedremo cosa annunceranno. rimane che spostare tutto su una console in fallimento già appena uscita in tempo di crisi e quando le vendite di Wii e DS sono alle stelle è una palese cazzata e non ci vuole certo un genio per capirlo :/
perchè la nintendo non vuole bene alla Wii T__T
