What makes this all more painful is that he desperately wanted to live more...usually animals accept their they are about to die of old age, he fought with all his stregth until the very last and waited for me....not that I could have done anything, but it still makes me feel guilty somehow. With all my heart, I hope he has been happy in his life :)
